Dubai Courts Government Fees for MOA Notarization
Government fees are set by the Dubai Courts fee schedule and depend on three factors: company type, registered share capital, and number of partners. The fees are paid directly to Dubai Courts at the time of notarization.

What is not included in the standard service fee: DED trade name reservation fees (paid directly to DED), government fees (paid directly to Dubai Courts), and any third-party attestation fees for overseas shareholders. These are always listed separately in our quote.

Same-Day and Express Service Premiums
If you need the MOA notarized on the same day or the following business day, we charge an express service premium on top of the standard service fee. Dubai Courts itself does not charge extra for fast-track notarization; the additional cost reflects our compressed coordination time.
For same-day service: all documents must be received by 9am. The MOA is drafted, reviewed via WhatsApp or email by all partners, and we target a 10–11am court appointment. This is achievable for simple 2-partner LLCs with clean documentation.
For complex structures (multiple partners, special activity clauses, or regulated activities requiring additional verification), same-day service is not always possible regardless of premium. We will advise honestly when we receive your details.
Does VAT Apply to MOA Notarization?

VAT EXEMPT
Government fees paid directly to Dubai Courts are exempt from VAT. You will not be charged VAT on top of the court fee at the counter.
Professional Service Fees
5% VAT APPLIES
Our professional service fees are subject to 5% VAT as a legal and advisory service. We are VAT registered and provide a compliant VAT invoice for all services.
All quotes we provide show government fees and service fees separately, with VAT shown as a line item on the service component. There are no additional charges beyond what is quoted.
MOA Amendment Fees
If your company needs to amend its MOA (adding or removing a partner, changing business activities, increasing registered capital, or amending management clauses), the amendment must be separately notarized. The amendment fee is not cheaper than the original notarization.

Does Dubai Courts charge extra for same-day or urgent MOA notarization?+
No. Dubai Courts applies the same government fee schedule regardless of how quickly the notarization is processed. There is no official express or priority fee at the government level. However, professional service firms, including ours, charge an express coordination fee if you require a same-day or next-day appointment, because our team's time and planning effort is compressed. The express premium is quoted transparently and agreed in advance.
Do government fees apply to the total registered capital or only the paid-up capital?+
Dubai Courts fees are calculated on the registered capital stated in the MOA, which is the amount declared in the document, not necessarily the amount physically paid up at the time of notarization. Under Federal Law No. 32 of 2021, there is no longer a mandatory minimum paid-up capital for most LLCs, but the capital figure stated in the MOA determines the applicable fee band. If you are uncertain about what capital figure to include in your MOA, contact us before drafting.
Can I pay Dubai Courts fees by card or bank transfer?+
Dubai Courts accepts multiple payment methods including credit and debit cards and e-Dirham. Cash payment at the counter is also available. Payment is made directly to Dubai Courts at the time of submission, not to us. We will confirm the exact amount before the court appointment so you are prepared. Our professional service fee is invoiced separately and we accept bank transfer, card, and cash.
If an MOA requires resubmission, do the fees apply again?+
If a document correction is needed before the notarization is completed (e.g., at the counter due to a document issue), the fees may not be forfeited, depending on how far the process has progressed. If the notarization was completed but DED requires a corrected MOA, you would need to submit an amended MOA, which incurs a fresh amendment notarization fee (approximately AED 300–510). We prevent this situation by verifying all documents against DED requirements before submission.
